Exciting Slot Shooting is a curious game, fusing top-down shooting with… a slot machine component!
Looking like a Technicolor reverse Space Invaders, different colored monsters are released in waves from the top of the screen. The player manoeuvres their “ship” and blasts the monsters, with the vanquished monsters appearing sequentially in the slot machine display. Match three of the same kind and win points! But be careful, if the monsters fall, they will eventually pile up and crush you.
There’s a healthy amount of strategy involved here. It’s completely nuts, but addictive in a “one more round” sort of way. Nice.
