Developed by Genki and published by SEGA in 1995, Hang-On GP would end up being the final game in the Hang-On series. It’s by far one the best games developed with Saturn’s Arcade Racer wheel in mind, while also being pretty terrible on standard D-pad. An unsung Saturn exclusive revving on the starting line waiting to cut loose.

This month we will be playing the six GP courses, NTSC only. The initial three courses will last all month, and the final three will be weekly challenges starting with Long Albatross Cliff Reef on March 8. There will be a special prize for the “Leader of the Pack” awarded to whoever gets the fastest total time of all six courses by the end of the month.
Also being introduced is the Emulation Category. The “Any Way You Can” prize will be awarded for the fastest total time of the initial three courses. This will only be available to participants who don’t own real Saturn hardware (so no double-dipping). Any emulator is allowed, including MiSTer.
RULES:
- No Action Replay or PseudoSaturn cheats. No cheating.
- NTSC only!
- Normal difficulty only.
- Standard motorcycles only. Special Silver Machine not allowed!
- Photographic evidence of times/scores is mandatory.
