We wish you a happy NEW YEAR’S EVE, and with it an announcement of 2025’s first SHIRO! Community Challenge, which begins right when that ball hits the ground! January’s chilly challenge will see us slip sliding away with Sega AM3’s Winter Heat! Sequel to the legendary Saturn title DecAthlete, Winter Heat is also well known but doesn’t seem to get as much attention as its summer Olympic counterpart. We hope everyone is ready for some finger-jamming winter sports! Even if you’ve never played the game before, give it a shot and post your times and scores on the board!
Shout-outs to everyone involved who put this all together: Gregori Rasputin for leading, typing up all the rules and creating the flyer; SEGARPGFAN for putting together the Google form for submissions; SaturnDave for creating a dope custom patch design; Moose for making the patch prizes; Xidan for the special shirt prize; Random for the super funky jams on the sizzle video (which I, Double Dime, tossed together for your viewing pleasure); and Danthrax for being the manthrax, as well as helping with decision-making and being the voice of the council.
See you on those slopes!
