The 1980s were a golden age for anime in Japan, with Super Dimension Fortress Macross standing amongst the greats with a tale of aliens attacking a futuristic Earth.

The Saturn game subtitled “Do You Remember Love?” is part side-scrolling shmup and part run-and-gun, as the player’s ship can transform between the two configurations. Following the plot of the Macross series closely, the game also features a heavy dose of both from-the-show and original anime.

Think the ’80s were cool? Then you must remember love.
