The developer of the first commercially sold Saturn homebrew game, Red Moon: Lost Days, has announced its prequel.
The game, Lost Days 0, was announced during the Homebrew Games Summer Showcase 2024 yesterday. Developer Neuromage Studio, led by SHIRO! community member Sansigolo, said it’s another sci-fi RPG/visual novel hybrid that follows Io, a pilot and spy on a mission that’s threatened by a skilled assassin. The plot is set two years before Red Moon: Lost Days.
The game’s Itch.io page goes into more detail:

This will be the fourth homebrew game that Sansigolo and his team have made for the Saturn after Red Moon: Lost Days in 2023, The Case of the City Botucaiba in 2022 and The Lighthouse of São Bento do Oeste in 2020.
“I like telling stories in games,” Sansigolo said in the SegaXtreme Discord server. ” And I know that in my next game I carry all the development experience of the previous one, so I can focus on telling a more interesting story, making the game better, artistically and musically.”
