If The Rocky Horror Picture Show and the Saturn ever made a baby, it might be named Cho Aniki (Big Brother).

A shmup, it features homoerotic digitized man-sprites on hand-drawn pixel backgrounds… but like Rocky Horror, it never takes itself overly seriously as either a sexual statement or a shmup. Passed over for Western release, Cho tapped Japanese Saturns in early 1996.

The visuals are campy, the gameplay semi-hard, and the overall package just a bit sweaty. Cho Aniki: a male-centered surreal parody shooter. Of course, it’s #BestOfSaturn.
