The March Edition of our monthly SHIRO! Community Challenge is here, and it’s time to wax your boards and carve those slopes in CAVE’s snow-shredding classic, Steep Slope Sliders! This event runs from March 1st through the 31st, and there are 14 events & 14 prizes up for grabs!

RULES:
• Real Sega Saturn Hardware Only (ODEs allowed)
• No Emulation. No Action Replay or Pseudo Saturn Cheats.
• Use of any character is permitted! That includes the unlockable/secret boarders.
• Photographic evidence of times/scores is mandatory. Photo submissions should be of the “Total Time” screen accompanied by a message clearly stating the relevant event.
• Videos and Online submissions to Speedrun.com are encouraged.

As noted above, events are organized into a few categories.
Participants can submit there best time attack results for the following courses: Alpine, Snowboard Park and Extreme 00-03, beginning Friday.
Three Weekly Challenge time attack contests are slated for the final three weeks of March. Contestants can submit times for the Asteroids course during the week of March 8, the Artificial Valley course the week of March 15, and the South Pole course the week of March 22. Those submitting times for the South Pole Weekly Challenge are prohibited from riding over the water on the course and must stay on land.
The score attack contests will include both the Half Pipe and Snowboard Park courses, which begin Friday. Submissions for Astro Pipe score attacks will open March 15.
Additionally, Hybrid contests, involving the submissions of both best time and trick score of at least 1,000 points, on the Extreme 01 and Snowboard Park courses open March 15.
