Silhouette Mirage #BestOfSaturn

Silhouette Mirage appeared on Japanese Saturns in late 1997 courtesy of fabled software house Treasure. A fast-paced action platformer, the gimmick here is that the heroine possesses traits of both Silhouette and Mirage — and the direction she faces dictates which side the player sees and which set of abilities can be used. Silhouette enemies can only be damaged by her Mirage side, and vice versa.

A somewhat complex but ultimately satisfying action-platformer, this one looks great, moves well, and is super fun… if you get the hang of it.
