Fighting Vipers kicked off SEGA’s 1996 year-end assault on gamers’ wallets (or so they had hoped). A 3D vs. fighting game, AM2’s FV uses the same three button layout as Virtua Fighter but gameplay-wise, FV is all about fast-paced button-mashing fighting. The eight characters wear body armor which can be battered off for some devastating damage. Stages are enclosed and walls can be used to a player’s advantage… and even broken through! A good game.
